Contract tree surgery
Ross Webster Tree Services provides commercial tree surgery and commercial tree services across County Durham and North Yorkshire. We work with facilities managers, estate teams, business parks, schools and landowners who need a contractor to assess the site, agree a safe scope and carry out the work around real operational constraints.
Our commercial tree care covers planned pruning, deadwood removal, commercial tree removal, stump work and vegetation work around buildings, car parks, access routes and boundaries. Send the site location, the trees or areas involved and any access restrictions. We will assess the job, prepare RAMS for the agreed scope and provide a written quote.
This page is for tree work on a live commercial site. If you need trees, scrub and vegetation cleared to specification before construction or redevelopment, use our commercial site clearance service.
Commercial tree surgery scope
- Planned tree pruning
- Deadwood removal, crown reductions and agreed pruning where site use, access or tree condition calls for it.
- Tree removals
- Felling where space allows, or sectional dismantling where a tree is close to buildings, roads, services or boundaries. See tree removal.
- Stump work and vegetation
- Stump grinding and agreed vegetation work where these form part of the site scope. See commercial site clearance.
- Work specified by a survey
- We carry out BS5837 tree surveys and the approved tree works they specify. See Tree Surveys for Planning.
What to send before the site assessment
Send the site location, the trees or areas that need work, a plan if you have one, access restrictions, operating hours and anything above or below ground that affects the work. Overhead lines, underground services, delivery routes, car parks and public access all change the method.
For commercial work we prepare RAMS around the agreed site scope. The assessment confirms access, work areas and the sequence before the work is booked. The written quote records what is included.
Restrictions and permissions
Where the site has existing approvals, planning conditions or a BS5837 survey, send them with the enquiry so we can quote for the documented work. No survey yet? We carry out BS5837 tree surveys ourselves, then quote and execute the specified work. See Tree Surveys for Planning.
Planned commercial tree maintenance
Choose one-off commercial tree work or scheduled tree maintenance for estates, schools, business parks, managed property and commercial grounds. We can return every 6 or 12 months for the same managed site.
There is no contract. We contact you when the next visit is due and you decide whether to book it. Regular visits make it easier to plan pruning, deadwood work and agreed tree maintenance around the way the site operates, rather than arranging each visit as a new job. See our tree maintenance plans.
Commercial tree surgery, not clearance
This service is for operational sites that need tree work while the site remains in use. The work may involve one tree beside a car park or a scheduled group of trees across an estate. It is not a demolition or groundworks service, and it is not a pre-development clearance page.
