What is the difference between domestic and commercial site clearance?

A domestic job might be a single garden with a few trees and an overgrown hedge. One truck, two men, done in a morning.

Commercial site clearance involves more.

Insurance. Commercial sites typically require £10 million public liability. Domestic policies are usually £5 million. We carry £10 million.

Paperwork. Every commercial job needs a site-specific risk assessment and method statement (RAMS). Written for your site — access routes, plant positioning, overhead cables, underground services, neighbouring properties, traffic management, waste disposal.

Traffic management. If the site adjoins a live road, you may need Chapter 8 compliant traffic management. We can coordinate it.

Waste handling. Domestic green waste goes in a truck. Commercial waste requires a waste transfer note. We manage all of this.
